Project idea (in English)

Protection and promotion of the natural heritage of the meadow steppes of Pivnichne Podillia Within the Pivnichne Podillia National Nature Park, located in the territory of Lviv region, meadow steppes have a high conservation value and a priority for the preservation of biodiversity, which have been preserved until now due to the complexity of the landscape and the specificity of anthropogenic influence. Drastic changes in climatic conditions and a decrease in economic activity have led to the degradation of these unique natural complexes, and now they are located in small areas. In the spring season, when the plants bloom, these biotopes attract dozens of visitors for the purpose of ecotours, photo and video shooting. More than 50 rare species of plants and animals in these territories must be preserved, as well as measures to protect meadow steppes (about 250 hectares).
