Invitation to International Scientific Conference in Lublin

After several editions of the International Scientific Conference organised in Ukraine, this year we invite you again to Poland. The participants will be hosted by the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. The theme of the Conference will be "Security in Crisis Situations in the Border Regions of Poland and Ukraine".

During the Conference we will address and discuss the following topics:

  1. Increasing the effectiveness of crisis and emergency prevention.
  2. Socio-economic impact of crisis and emergency situations.
  3. Co-ordination of the activities of services and inspections in the face of threats in crisis and emergency situations.
  4. Reliable information on threats related to crisis and emergency situations by various information centres (including: governmental institutions or the media).
  5. Diversity of positions and opinions of experts and scientists in countering crisis and emergency situations.
  6. Humanitarian assistance in crisis and emergency situations.

The Conference will be organised within the Cross-border Cooperation Programme Poland-Belarus-Ukraine 2014-2020 together with the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin and the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University in Ivano-Frankivsk and will be held on 17-18th  November 2022 in a hybrid format – in the premises of the Catholic University of Lublin and online via a video-conference platform.

In order to attend the Conference, applicants shall fill in an application form – Ukrainian participants by 30th September 2022 and Polish participants by 28th October 2022.
