Conference opening a Large Infrastructural Project SoDR

On 11th of September 2019 in Lviv, the opening conference was organised within the project “Establishment of the system of dynamic response to information of crimes and other events in Lviv” (acronym SoDR). The Lead Beneficiary of the project is Lviv Regional Board of Administration of the National Police (Ukraine) and the Beneficiary is Regional Police Headquarters in Rzeszow (Poland).

"This Large infrastructure project is extremely important not only for Lviv residents. It is of strategic importance for the development of the city and Lviv region, as well as for cross-border cooperation. Safety will always be important for residents, tourists and guests " – said in his welcome speech Leszek Buller, Director of the Center for European Projects.

The conference was attended by the representatives of police and NGOs from Poland and Ukraine.

The new administrative building, with integration system of data received from CCTV city cameras, will be completed, six Lviv police stations placed in Lviv will be reconstructed, new administrative building will gain integrated multiservice telecommunication system within this project with the budget 6 million euros.

By the achievement of the planned actions, the SoDR project will affect the development of the region, significantly reduce the number of crimes committed in public places and create conditions for prevention thereof. It is a straight way to increase the tourist flow and allow Lviv citizens and visitors feel save and get quick and accurate help in situations of threat.
