Programme stand at the European Congress of Local Governments

Representatives of the Programme Poland-Belarus-Ukraine took part in the 3rd European Congress of Local Governments that took place on 27-28 March 2017 in Kraków.

The Programme had its information stand during two days of the Congress where all interested participants could be informed about the Programme and opportunities it offers to potential beneficiaries by the employees of the Joint Technical Secretariat and Branch Offices from Lviv, Brest or Rzeszów. The Centre of European Projects who was one of the official partners of the event and the Central Information Point as well as other INTERREG programmes were also present with their information and promotion materials. The director of the Centre of European Projects led one of the panel discussion on “How to develop the cross-border infrastructure”.

The Congress is an international conference devoted to the issues of regional politics, cooperation between self-governments , representatives of state administration, science and business. The theme of this year's meeting was “Local governments in the face of the challenges of the twenty-first century reflects the current situation in Europe”.
